Universal Design

Clark-Lindsey, a local nonprofit Life Plan Community, has the mission to engage the mind, body and spirit in wellness and community so that older adults may thrive. Universal design is imperative to aging successfully. Clark-Lindsey understands the importance of providing living environments that allow for one to live as independently and fully as possible.

Clark-Lindsey is hosting an inaugural student competition to inspire the design of living spaces that support independence and well-being regardless of age or ability. Teams shall consist of two to four UIUC students. Students from any standing and major are eligible to compete.
