The Village at Clark-Lindsey is home to a number of University of Illinois alumnae and retired professors. And, the campus continues to play an important role. The University offers a multitude of activities enjoyed by our residents – from Big Ten sporting events to premier cultural and educational opportunities.
From football and basketball games to museums, intergenerational programs, continuing educational programs, and volunteer opportunities, residents can enjoy a wealth of activities in concert with the University of Illinois.
Many programs are offered on-site at The Village. Senior Scholars is our continuing education program located on the Clark-Lindsey campus. Aspiring world-class musicians and artists use our facility for rehearsal performances. Our Steinway Concert Grand Piano ensures residents a top-notch performance.
In the planning stages at The Village is a program called New AGE, a concept that focuses on improving the health and quality of life of older adults living in a retirement community. Clark-Lindsey is proud to partner with the University of Illinois as one of two sites in the nation selected to initiate this New AGE concept. |
